Rich Hagan's Story

Rich Hagan was an Army Paratrooper with the 101st airborne division stationed in Vietnam from 1967-68. He was later awarded the Silver Star for his bravery during several conflicts.

In 1985, Rich was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  Over the next two decades, his muscle control and coodination became progressively more limited until he was wheelchair bound. He received his service dog in 2005. Kovin's uplifting presence has extended to Rich's veteran colleagues in his PTSD Graduate Group and at the VA Hospital.
